LFD was able to gather together the Deaf Lutherans in Macau with the Bushes from Hong Kong for a Sunday morning House church worship. It was conducted in both American and Macau Sign Languages. The Macau Lutherans were grateful for access to the Word of God and the Sacrament in their own language.

LFD hosted a barbecue dinner for former Deaf alumni students of Concordia School in Macau. Pastor Dunseth, Deaconess Diana Rice and Jennifer Ceyanes worked there together and taught the children the Word of God in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
