Hands of Outreach. Mooresville church offers new Deaf ministry

Diana Turpen attended the Church Interpreter Training Institute this past June in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She added new skills that she had learned at CITI to her Sunday morning interpreting for the Deaf people who attend her church in Illinois. CITI is a ministry of Lutheran Friends of the Deaf and Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN. It has been training interpreters for over 30 years. The goal? That Deaf people might have access to the Word of God, know Jesus Christ and have life in His Name.
