Lutheran Friends of the Deaf – the founding organization of Mill Neck Family of Organizations, which brings support services to the global Deaf community for access to the Word of God—- is excited to announce their latest initiative:

This new website, which will be unveiled this fall, will bring a fresh, new look to the organization, and provide resources to Deaf individuals seeking the word of God; churches (local, national and international) seeking to offer Deaf ministry programs; forums for the Deaf Christian community to connect with one another and the LFD team; daily devotions to provide motivation; and a separate outlet for LFD to showcase the blessed work they do around the world in His name. In addition, the website will feature a timeline of vintage photographs of substantial moments in LFD’s history.

LFD, in collaboration with the Mill Neck Foundation marketing team and the services provided by an extremely talented outside digital design agency, Bowen Media, are working diligently to create a well-designed website that will not only be accessible to the Deaf community, but will be also be responsive to those who prefer to access the internet on the go. The site will emphasize total communication for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, utilizing video to interpret content into American Sign Language by one of the qualified LFD team members while simultaneously close captioned.

Stay tuned for the website launch this fall!
