LFD was able to gather together the Deaf Lutherans in Macau with the Bushes from Hong Kong for a Sunday morning House church worship. It was conducted in both American and Macau Sign Languages. The Macau Lutherans were grateful for access to the Word of God and the Sacrament in their own language.
LFD hosted a barbecue dinner for former Deaf alumni students of Concordia School in Macau. Pastor Dunseth, Deaconess Diana Rice and Jennifer Ceyanes worked there together and taught the children the Word of God in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

David and Barbara brought over a group of students from the Hongkong school to visit Macau.
Yesterday Diana Rice was the guest teacher for the Introduction to Sign Language class for new teachers at Concordia School for Special Education in Macau. Concordia is a formerly all Deaf school in south China near Hong Kong. LFD has been working with the school for several decades and continues a partnership to this day.
Lutheran Friends of the Deaf is in Macau, China! On Wednesday evening, Diana Rice with Lutheran Friends of the Deaf gave a presentation on Deaf Culture to about thirty Deaf members and staff at the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired.
